Tutor, Margaret: - Margaret Tutor was born and raised in Morrilton, Arkansas. Her widowed mother raised seven children with great determination to provide and keep her children together. As a little girl, Margaret enjoyed listening to her adult relatives talk; thinking she might learn something new. She enjoyed the conversations of how they lived and worked to earn a living. Her mother was one of 10 children who traveled from cotton field to cotton field picking cotton, before becoming Sharecroppers. Most of the time her family lived out of a covered wagon.
