Following the end of a brief but impactful romantic relationship, a pen and paper were found to be a place of solace. Through intense emotions, grief, and navigating the ever-changing emotional/mental state that spanned the course of 3 months, the author documented through poems that would describe their thoughts and feelings regarding the loss of this important relationship and partner. This collection comprises 35 never-before-published poems revolving around grief at the loss of a relationship, navigating an ongoing challenging mental health struggle, acknowledging the difficulties of life while focusing on persistent thoughts, and a focus on healing and rediscovery of the independent self.
