What will our after-life be like? Can we still influence those that are left behind on Earth? Can those on Earth communicate with the super-natural? Whispers from Beyond is a contemporary fictional account that goes beyond where most stories end. A prominent physician is killed by one of his drug-seeking patients and is immediately thrust into his after-life. The story immediately divides into two avenues. First, we get to follow the murder victim into eternity as he initially experiences fear. However, quickly he finds comfort in having casual, often humorous, powerful discussions with the creator of the universe. Along the way, he discovers a mysterious spiritual roadblock that he struggles to solve, before he can enter eternity. Meanwhile, his family back on Earth searches for his killer. They begin to notice "gut feelings," interesting "coincidences", and fascinating episodes of "luck." There are a number of twists and turns as tension builds with the pursuit of the killer. They feel they are getting help from "above." This is fiction. However, the main character's discovery of spiritual truths, both on Earth and beyond death, is biblically based upon modern theology and what science has learned about spirituality and the after-life. In the surprising conclusion, the characters recognize the moral code, the trinity and spiritual strengths of Heaven, that provide hope for all of humanity, through forgiveness and God's grace.
