Wrong Turn A Christmas Mystery

Ginette Guy Mayer

DS Henry Stafford is on call for Christmas, and he is expecting nothing but a quiet day at home. The only thing on his mind is how to keep Oscar and K.C., his two cats, from tearing apart his lavish Christmas tree.

In the quiet town of Winchester, this Christmas Eve is anything but silent when a grandmother is found lifeless in the snow. DS Stafford, known for his sharp instincts and unyielding dedication, is called to the scene of what seems to be a tragic accident. But as he delves deeper, the evidence begins to point in an unexpected direction-a reindeer-shaped shadow looms large.

This mystery weaves together humour, festive cheer, and family relations. With the clock ticking, Stafford must untangle a web of family secrets and revenge to uncover the truth. Loosely based on the song "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" this yuletide whodunit will keep you guessing.

In "Wrong Turn" you'll have the chance to reunite with your beloved detective and his family, while also getting acquainted with a colourful group of potential culprits.

About the Author

Mayer, Ginette Guy: -

I was born in the Laurentians of Quebec, in the year when "Perry Mason" first made its debut on TV and when Slinky and Hula Hoops were popular toys! And yes, the TV set was in black & white!

My interest as a writer revolves around history, genealogy and women's stories within those contexts. I find that women have been understated in our historical narrative, and I am trying to correct that one story at a time. I am an avid reader of the traditional British mystery.

Now retired, I live in Cornwall, Ontario, where I volunteer with various heritage, history and genealogical groups. My partners in crime are KC and Bella, my two rescue cats.
