Deep inside Shadrow Forest lies the haunted town of Hillgrave. It is a town of ghosts, vampires, witches, mad scientists, and monsters from the darkest corners of your nightmares. Avoid this town at all costs, say the locals, for those who go in do not come out alive. And those who do... Well, let's just say one's own sanity is not something to take for granted...

Meet Martin Boyle. Loveless, jobless, and down on his luck, he decides to get rich quickly by looting old houses for valuables. His eyes are set on Dulca House, a dark mansion in the haunted town of Hillgrave. Sure, it seems abandoned at first, but he gets the unshakable feeling that someone---or something---is there with him. Unfortunately for our dear friend, he is now a mere fly caught in its web.

Inspirations for this series: The 1960s vampire soap opera Dark Shadows, Rebecca (gothic novel), the classic story of Dracula, The Bride of Frankenstein, Reverend Kane from Poltergeist II, and those weird Jell-O molds people used to make (and actually eat!) in the 1950s.
