About the Author

Stanley Yokell is a retired Consulting Engineer with retired registrations in New Jersey, Illinois, Iowa and active registration in Colorado, and a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He has spent most of his free time on outdoor activities, bicycling (including a solo coast-to-coast ride), hiking up mountains and Scuba diving. He has made nearly 1,000 Scuba dives and wrote about his Scuba dives in his book, An Old Timer's Scuba Tales. He has written many books beginning with A Working Guide to Shell-and-Tube Heat Exchangers, McGraw-Hill, New York, 1990 and the books shown on his web page at www.baddyflicks.com. His current books are Closed Feedwater Heaters for Power Generation: A Working Guide, written with co-authors Mike Catapano and Eric Svensson, McGraw-Hill Education, and The Murder on the Mall, the second in a trilogy of murder mysteries featuring Marie Quizno, Detective Chief of the fictional town of Big Rock, Colorado.
