A Cautionary Tale is an incredibly vulnerable and insightful lived experience account of a non-binary late diagnosed Autistic's decades long battle with anorexia nervosa. It is also a scathing rebuke of mainstream anorexia nervosa treatment programs and the deep enduring harm that these can cause. It is a call to action for clinicians in this country to know and do better when supporting their clients with anorexia nervosa.
