Praise for this book

A paradigm of what literary magazines can be: a gorgeously curated collection we experience as a cabinet of wonders.
--Whiting Literary Magazine Prize citation

A Public Space notices the world--in all of its particulars, their odd collection--and delivers this world to us. It makes room for joy.
--Leslie Jamison

A Public Space articulates, by words and by images, by the space given attentively to them and by the connections thoughtfully made, what one has been searching for without being able to articulate.
--Yiyun Li
