About the Author
James, Candice: - Candice James is a poet, writer, musician, singer, songwriter and visual artist. She was appointed Poet Laureate Emerita after serving two back to back three year terms as the Poet Laureate of The City of New Westminster. She is the Founder and President of The Royal City Literary Arts Society; a full member of The League of Canadian Poets; and past President of The Federation of BC Writers; Past Director of SpoCan; creator of the long running events "Poetic Justice" and "Poetry in the Park". She is the author of 20 books of poetry.
