@vandroidhelsing Katee Robert’s Abel has this premise except that it’s “additionally,” not “instead,” and also there is a very confusing gang war happening The plot makes very little sense and the worldbuilding is full of holes and, uh, I highly recommend it if you’re into that sort of thing
