Screenwriter, playwright and novelist, Bart Baker has been fixture in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. During that time he has had 2 features produced, including the Pierce Brosnan action film Live Wire, eleven movies for television including the CBS Television Bride Trilogy (Children of the Bride, Baby of the Bride and Mother of the Bride.) Before turning to Hollywood, Baker was a successful playwright, with eight theatrical plays produced around the world, including Relay and Seacliff, California. As his reputation expanded so did the demand for his work, as he saw 13 of his film scripts produced and spent time working on four television series including Dirt on the FX Network. His most recent television endeavors are a writing a remake of the film Bette Midler/Barbara Hershey film Beaches and When The Rain Falls for the Lifetime Network. Having conquered the stage and screen, Baker turned his attention to novels and his first, Honeymoon With Harry, was a critical and commercial success. Warner Bros./New Line Cinema purchased the movie rights and Bradley Cooper is currently involved in the project. His second novel, What Remains was released last year. His new YA novel, the first in a series, After Ozz, is set to be published at the end of the year and next year, Mr. Baker's first graphic novel, The Sacred Band Of Thebes, is scheduled for publication.
