About the Author
Saijel Burkett wrote this book in the first grade when she was 6 years old. This book was chosen to represent her elementary school in the Denver Public Schools' Young Author Showcase. Saijel decided to refine the book and work toward publishing this book to save money for college. She also loves to read and write poetry.
