Sally presently lives in Washington State with her husband and one ageing Lab. Her writing of this book is a long overdue labor of love, tears and pain. Much of her inspiration came from her roots of growing up on a Va. farm where she early on became aware of many injustices inflicted upon women and children surrounding her. This novel exposes much of what for years had only been whispered or covered up but with a big slice of mystery thrown in for good measure.
