About the Author
John Louis DiGaetani teaches English at Hofstra University. He has several published works on British literature, modern literature, and the links between literature and music. His published works include Richard Wagner: New Light on a Musical Life, Richard Wagner and the Modern British Novel, Puccini the Thinker, and A Search for a Postmodern Theater: Interviews with Contemporary Playwrights. He received his PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
