About the Author

Green, Henry: - HENRY GREEN (1801-1873) was born in England to a successful businessman but was influenced by a religious mentor to focus on the ministry. After his education at Glasgow University, he took a position at a Presbyterian chapel where he devoted his life to ministry and writing. His early writing ranged from theological to satirical verse and later focused primarily on early emblem writers.
