George Kaufmann became enchanted with the classical guitar after he heard his uncle who attended a musical conservatory in Argentina play. He started playing the classical guitar at age 9 and excelled quite rapidly on the instrument. Kaufmann soon started composing in the style of the great classical composers of the 18th and 19th century and is probably one of the last great original classical guitar composers left. He holds a Masters Degree in music.
