Around the World in Eighty Dreams
It began when she was a child, 5 or 6 years old. When she was put to bed the black mist would creep under her door. Squeezing her eyes shut she still saw it creep up the end of the bed and smother her into the dream. She was being led by an adult up a wooden staircase to the green door with brass handle she knew horror awaited her behind it. The adult reached and turned the brass handle.. an explosion of fear and terror sat her bolt upright, gasping for breath and soaked in sweat. Tonight the black mist will continue. A gap year in college would have her travel to the far corners of the globe to find respite from shaman and ancient dream chasers for answers to the night terrors that plagued her life
