About the Author

Is it a bad thing that Tim Chaney's misguided claim to fame is that he's great fun at parties? He's channeled that talent, if you will, into his years long labor of love - Beyond Utopia. By the time he'd achieved Bachelor and Master degrees in the science of life, he'd earned said dubious distinction. That same cheerful persona paved the development, management, and ultimate success of his environmental company. Now retired, having sold the business, he and his first (and last) wife, Pat, enjoy a serene and peaceful existence reminiscent of their hippie days along the banks of the Blanco River.
