Petra Lloyd was born and grew up in the South Wales market town of Abergavenny in the UK. Some years ago she moved to North Wales, making the beautiful Isle of Anglesey her home. She trained as a singer and recorder player and has taught music for many years but has always enjoyed writing too. She has had several articles published, mostly about musical topics, but this is a new venture for Petra. The staffie is a much misunderstood and much abused breed, yet they make wonderfully loyal companions as Petra knows, having owned two. Her staffie dog, Jacob, is loved by all of her friends and pupils and a more loyal dog one could not find.
