About the Author

Myesha Monique Collins is a native of Los Angeles, California; a military veteran, author, motivtional coach, relationship consultant and an Ordained minister. She currently works as a practice Manager/Administrator for three medical practices, and resides in Chesapeake, VA with her three sons, Montreal, Eric and Otashia. Myesha's book of poetry, entitled "Poetration," was published in 2006 and is available through Amazon. It focuses on life, and the experiences we get from it. The book was inspired by Myesha's favourite quote; "Experiences shape who you are, but they do not dictate who you become." It's clear (experience) is her thing! In her spare time, Myesha writes short stories and poetry. She has an interest in spirituality and loves helping women to empower themselves, especially young teenage mothers who may not be able to see their true potential. While helping teenage mothers is a passion of hers, she is not limiting herself to one age group or sex. She is a firm believer that people of all ages need help, and enjoys passing on her own experiences and knowledge that will help with whatever they are going through, and come out of it stronger than ever. She loves sharing her blessings with these fabulous people. She also loves sharing her undying passion for post-midnight shopping.
