Boniface and the Riddles of Fibonacci's Octagonal Castle: The Mathematical Decoding of Castel del Monte

Marco Bonifacio Di Marzo

This book is for children of all ages. Younger ones may need assistance from their parents, but my
message is the same for both: to encourage people, especially children, not to be discouraged
by a problem and, above all, to try to solve it not with magic, but with mathematics and logic, as
well as the right amount of calm and common sense.
The book is set in 1988 in Puglia, and the protagonists are two 8-year-old children, Boniface and Armandino. The Octagonal Castle truly exists and is called Castel Del Monte, also known as The Fortress of Prime Numbers.
To decode the Giza Pyramid, many constants like radius, radiant, pi, etc., are needed, but to decode Castel
Del Monte, only whole numbers are required.
The two children, one passionate about mathematics and the other about drawing, will together solve all the enigmas of the Octagonal Castle, using mathematics, logic, and a lot of imagination. I wish you a pleasant reading.
