With the help of an incarnate angel named Michael, Arel has made a lot of progress. He's leaving his dark, despairing world behind, and he's become very powerful in the process. However, he's made some very bad choices along the way, including some near-fatal blunders. He decides his incredible powers exceed his ability to handle them responsibly. Fearing his flawed nature, he tries to escape the world by creating an alternate reality.

When his newly created world and best intentions end in disaster, Arel questions not only his own flawed nature, but humanity's place in creation. In a strange twist of fate, he feels compelled to engage in an epic battle in his alternate world, one that pits good against evil.
