Butler (Maidenhall) & Butler (Mountgarret) of Kilkenny
Butler of Maidehall and Butler of Mountgarret are two of the families whose histories are documented in the series The Gentry & Aristocracy of Kilkenny. Both are descended from the first Butler who came to Ireland with the Normans. Both families have representatives living today.
