Dr. Ronald L. Washington is a 54 year-old father of four; ages 30, 28, 9 and 4. He started writing children's stories in 1985 to fulfill his child, Oni's voracious appetite for new stories. Since then, he has read his first book of stories, called "Sleepy Time Space Tales", to all his children. At the insistence of his daughter, Alexis, he published "Sleepy Time Space Tales" for other children to enjoy. This book, Christian Children Growing up in God's Galaxies is Dr. Washington's second published work. Dr. Washington has had a life-long love of writing. In college, he was Senior Editor, Sports Editor (played football, ran track), and Featured Columnist of a column called "Inside Washington" for the "Black Voice/Carta Boriqua" newspaper." He also wrote, produced and hosted "Insights and Issues", for campus radio station, WLIB. A retired Attorney-At-Law of the State of New Jersey, he now teaches Social Studies and coaches track at an Atlanta, Georgia high school. He remains a member of the New Jersey Bar, Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He earned a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University-School of Law in 1986, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University in1981. He is also an Ordained and Licensed Christian Minister.
