Harold Davis is from Newfoundland, Canada. His resume includes stints as dishwasher, cook, logger, beaver trapper, bank manager, trawler-man, truck driver, and lots of community service. Working for Canada's aboriginal people has been the most rewarding part of his career so far. It all comes together as a writer. History, nature, the places he's been and the people he's met influence his writing. He married his high school sweetheart. They have three grown children and a wonderful granddaughter. They live by the side of the Salmonier River in Newfoundland.
