Praise for this book

Here, at last, is a case--and one made articulately and winsomely--for using contemporary music in worship with theological integrity . . . it is rare to find an author who makes his case with as much balance.--Reggie M. Kidd, Associate Professor of New Testament, Reformed Theoloogical Seminary, Orlando
John Frame goes a long way toward sorting out the issues involved in contemporary worship music [CWM] and making us aware of the criteria for judging it.--William Edgar, Professor of Apologetics, Westminster Theological Seminary
His reasoned, scriptural, and theological arguments and insights help readers rethink traditional wisdom on the important but controversial subject of what music is appropriate in God-centered worship.--Paul E. Engle, Visiting Instructor, Reformed Theological Seminary, Knox Theological Seminary
A premier composition--- bold, balanced, and convincing. Add courageous as he takes on some big name CWM critics, defends his musical and theological credentials, and even offers his approved list of songs.--George C. Miladin, Senior Pastor, New Life Orthodox Presbyterian Church, San Diego
[An] insightful and informed review of the whole debate. I especially appreciate the thorough discussion of issues such as quality, Christ-centeredness, and the role of the intellect, along with a fair appraisal of some of CWM's besetting weaknesses.--James Ward, Director of Music, New City Fellowship Presbyterian Church in American, Chattanooga
