Praise for this book

'Sudeep Sen is a shining star in India's poetic firmament' William Dalrymple

'Poised, elegantly constructed poems which provide calm places for the reader to inhabit' Carol Ann Duffy, former UK Poet Laureate.

Deftly tackling urgent issues of climate change and the pandemic by subtly juxtaposing the sciences and the arts, Sudeep Sen's 'Anthropocene' is one of the most important books of 2021. Jhilam Chattaraj, Hindustan Times

"Poetry is a conversation between the poet and their soul, a dialogue that often results from a lifetime of perseverance by dedicated poets. Sometimes, this translates into something culturally viable and appropriate. ...Converse: Contemporary English Poetry by Indians is one such sustained discussion." -- The Chakkar Review
