Crack Falling

T. J. Clark

With a violent and abusive past, Flint Klemens lives on the fringes of society and within a sliver of his sanity. He's compromised by a corrupt Attorney General, drug pushers and businessmen who try their best to sideline him for speaking out. By chance he meets Gwennie, and they move interstate to start anew, only to find themselves caught in a web of corruption and vice. Gwennie disappears and Flint's left to deal with his psychotic mind. He is taunted by his enemies who, he discovers, are more closely linked than ever before.

Praise for this book

I loved this book! It's refreshingly different to most mainstream crime/thriller fiction as it steers well clear of stereotypes and predictable commercial formula most crime novels follow. It had plenty of action and genuine characters, and it takes a good hard look at real life for those on the edge of modern Australian society. (Angela, Brisbane)

Crack Falling gave me an insight into the daily struggle of someone whose already fragile grip on life has tipped him over the edge by dire circumstances and messing with drugs. The fictional story of Flint and his nemeses, Hughie and Ivan; and his love for Gwennie, felt very real. (Helga B, Cairns)

I went on the ride with you . . . it blew my hair back made me laugh and cringe and worry and sigh and laugh again. Like riding a wild brumby through the scrub on bareback . . . hair-raising and uncomfortable - but thrilling. (Sam B, Cairns)
