About the Author

Alex Struik is an Anglo-Dutch photographer specialising in photographs of remote landscapes and exotic wildlife. His latest project "Crocodiles on the Highway" has taken him on a 2 year journey to the deserts of the Empty Quarter (United Arab Emirates) Death Valley (California), the jungles of Borneo, rainforests of Hawaii as well as mangrove forests on uninhabited islands in the Andaman Sea. Alex is based in London, UK.
