Deadfall: The Enthralling Scottish Crime Thriller

Aline Templeton

Drumdalloch Woods is a place of shadowy darkness, tangled growth and an oppressive atmosphere. The woodland in the Black Isle near Inverness is a research site for Biological Sciences and now the setting for a dead body found face-down in a pond. DCI Kelso Strang's investigation grows more complex hourly, as he attempts to get to the root of the gnarled threads of hatred, greed and revenge that have flourished at Drumdalloch and seem to have ensnared the local police force. Strang, happy at last in his new life with Cat Fleming, faces an existential threat not only to his career but to his very life.
