Their entire lives are turned around when their house explodes before their eyes and unknown enemies take their mother, leaving the twins devastated but they are not alone. A close friend of their mom's gets them on their feet and helps them flee and transports them to where they truly belong.

In their real world they must go to a new school, meet new friends and figure out a way to save their mom. But that is not all, whispers and shadows follow them around Ocelia and lurking within the school grounds lies a mole in wait, preparing a plan that just might change their world forever. The twins find themselves racing against the clock to save their mom but also possibly the rest of the world and species.
