Given the global problems we face today - pandemics, climate change, mass extinctions, threat of nuclear war, growing inequality and economic instability - we need to look beyond our command-and-obey economy towards more delocalized network of global solutions. This book explore F. David Peat's theory of gentle iterative non-local action (Gentle Action (c)), with a few examples of pre-existing forms of action which fit the criteria, yet are often overlooked due to our reductionistic and mechanistic ways of thinking.
