Destiny Beyond the Power of the Enemy

Maurine Kikii

This book, "Destiny Beyond the Power of The Enemy" is written based on my personal life experiences. Writing it was motivated by what I have passed through, as well as testimonies of what God has done in my life.
Storms are inevitably part of human existence. And the fact remains that Christians are not magically exempt from the storms or challenges of life. Just because you are born again, have a good personal relationship with Christ, and find yourself in His boat, does not mean it's going to be smooth sailing all through life. (John 16:33; Luke 8:22-25). God uses trials and storms of life to discipline or teach us a lesson we would never have learned if life were to be calm and smooth.

I have seen God using storms at different points in my life to pass on a message to me, draw me closer to Him, build up my faith, discipline me, etc. I do understand that we are living in a world that is full of pain and many other discouraging situations, and therefore, most people have a lot of questions begging for answers.

In as much as we know that God is not an author of evil, we must also acknowledge that sometimes He allows storms into our lives for various reasons. We see a lot of examples of people in the Bible, who had to go through a series of painful events before God could use them or make them to be great men and women that we read about today. The saying, "Behind every glory, there is a story" is very true. Most of the great men and women we know in the world today have a story behind their successes. If they were to tell you what they had to go through before they could become successful, you may never want to walk their path. Great things don't just happen, and great men and women do not just exist by accident. It takes a series of circumstances in life; some painful and others awful for some people to be what they are today. Most of us don't like the idea of struggling or having to go through any painful event in life. We want to get things achieved in the easiest and shortest way possible, and that explains why we are living in a wicked and morally corrupt world today. God wants us to develop patience and endurance through our trials before we can invariably receive the divine promise, as we see in most great men and women we read about in the Bible. (James 1:12; Rom.5:3-4; 1 Pet. 5:10; Ps.34:19; 2 Cor.1:3-4)

I do not know what stage of life you are in right now; I do not know what exactly you are going through, but I know you are somewhere and going through something. If you have tried your best, prayed, and fasted and nothing seems to be working in your favour, then you need to read this book.
