Don't Care None carries the traditional Maine storytelling and Down East humor of icons such as Marshall Dodge and Robert Bryan (creators of Bert and I), Kendall Morse and Tim Sample into the 21st century. It consists of over forty tales rooted in the humor and wisdom of traditional Maine storytelling that are, at the same time, part of a wider global storytelling tradition. The tales revolve around a mischievous farmer, "Uncle" Oscar Hardy and the people he knows in his town: his wife Bev, his favorite niece Joyce and her two sons Danny and Donnie, his neighbor Bolduc, Buddy "The Cheapest Man in Franklin County" Pinkham and many others.
