He is killing young Mothers in order to steal and sell their babies, and has been doing this for over eighteen years. When it comes to his attention that one of the children he sold is now searching for her roots, the killer understands that he must stop her before his world comes tumbling down. Holly realizes she might be putting herself in danger but she is stubborn, determined, and refuses to stop her search. This book is set in Chillicothe, Ohio, although the killer moves around a lot. Saundra Crum Akers sets her mystery suspense novels in small towns of southern Ohio, the area in which she grew up.
