Santa Claus has been kidnapped! Behind the plot are the mischievous and evil characters of fairy tale stories--an evil queen, a wicked stepmother, a sorceress, the beanstalk giant, and Rumpelstiltskin. They have a plan that will erase the term "Happily Ever After" from storybooks forever. It's nearly Christmas Eve and time is running out. Can Santa and the fairy-tale heroes save the day and bring Christmas to all the children of the world? Will anyone have a "Happily Ever After" again?

Fairy Tale Christmas reminds us all that there is good in everyone and that the magic of Christmas can soften any heart.

Praise for this book

"The Clandestines, a group of now unemployed fairy-tale villains, hatch a complicated plan to get the endings of their former stories...changed in their favor by kidnapping Santa Claus...But Santa is a wily old elf, and comes up with his own plan to conquer the Clandestines by tricking them into participating in his new gift-giving scheme. The humor and schtick feel...like something you'd find in a dinner theater holiday production...The message is a good one, and drama club kids will appreciate the theatrical trappings and Broadway-type finale."-- "School Library Journal"
"Full of humor and references to dozens of fables...An imaginative mash-up of holiday and fairy tale lore."-- "Idaho Falls Post Register" (11/19/2014 12:00:00 AM)
2015 Utah Book Award Finalist--Children's-- "Utah Book Award" (10/26/2015 12:00:00 AM)
