de Beer, Wynand: - Wynand de Beer is a South African who taught in Cape Town until moving to Ireland, where he met his Russian wife Lyudmila. His research articles on Hellenic philosophy and Patristic theology have been published in various peer-reviewed journals in the United States and South Africa. A member of the Russian Orthodox Church, he has also written articles for Orthodox publications and websites under his Orthodox name, Vladimir de Beer.
