From Stage to Page: Using Techniques from Theatre to Enrich Writing

Annie Lisenby

Authors search far and wide for ways to make their writing unique. How often does this literary quest lead to the world of theatre?

In "From Stage to Page," Lisenby shares techniques she's learned as an experienced theatre artist and how to apply them to writing. You'll follow Aristotle's elements of the drama to guide your novel to a new level.

You'll learn how to build characters like an actor, dress characters like a costume designer, build a scene like a set designer, and more.

Beyond Aristotle's elements, Lisenby includes bonus chapters on dealing with rejection, writing fight & romance scenes, and publicity & marketing.
