About the Author

Woods, Scott: - Scott Woods is the author of We Over Here Now (2013, Brick Cave Books) and Urban Contemporary History Month (2016, Brick Cave Books) and has published and edited work in a variety of publications. He has been featured multiple times in national press, including multiple appearances on National Public Radio. He was the President of Poetry Slam Inc. and MCs the Writers' Block Poetry Night, an open mic series in Columbus, Ohio . In April of 2006 he became the first poet to ever complete a 24-hour solo poetry reading, a feat he bested with six more annual 24-hour readings without repeating a single poem.
Skinner, Sharon a.: - Sharon Skinner holds a B.A. In English, an M.A. in Creative Writing and a Poetic License. She has worked as a landscaper, a cashier, a maid, a waitress, a communications specialist, a videographer, a technical writer, a project management consultant and a biomedical field service engineer and served aboard the USS Jason as one of the first women assigned to a US Navy ship. Her poetry and fiction have been published in myriad local, national and international publications. Sharon is an active member of SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators) and serves as the Regional Advisor for SCBWI AZ. Her recent publishing credits include In Case You Didn't hear Me the First Time (2010), The Healer's Legacy (2012), The Nelig Stones (2013), Mirabella and the Faded Phantom (March 2014). The highly anticipated sequel to The Healer's Legacy, The Matriarch's Devise, was released in Fall 2015.
Giunta, J. a.: - Joe is an Fantasy author with numerous short stories and books published in both paperback and ebook. He has a B.A. in English from Arizona State and has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years. He now writes novels full-time at home. He lives with his wife, Lori, and daughter, Ada Rose, in the perpetual summer that is central Arizona.
