A place he never wanted to see again, the place where he lost his twin brother. He returns only to debunk the absurd claims made by the house's new owner, celebrity psychic David Barnes, a man with enough money and followers to feed his messiah complex and the extraordinary psychic ability of Ana Jinete at his command.

Ana's talent allows her to reach through the otherworldly portal known as the Nexus. There she connects with Susan Stayer in 1915. who is investigating why her husband's ghost is still earthbound. As Ana's link with Susan grows stronger, she realizes that something else has entered the Nexus. Something that will change their past, present, and future.
