Haughton, Viola: - Viola Haughton is a Jamaican native who currently lives in Canada. She graduated from the University of Toronto with a major in Native Studies and a minor in Expressive Writing. She has written numerous stories over the years, including those in her Jamaican dialect, which she has shared in schools and churches. Her passion for writing children's stories developed while reading to her son and his friends as he grew up.
