A book that explores Matheran and its folklores.
The moment Anamika walked inside the doors of the mini train station, she felt she had entered another dimension. Anamika looked curiously at the size of the tiny steam engine and once she had sat inside on her seat in their compartment she had looked outside the window continuously without moving despite the train standing in the same position for the past fifteen minutes. Guptaji had laughed at her childish enthusiasm but for Anamika it was a whole new world that had opened its door for her to explore. As soon as the train started moving, a few hawkers climbed inside their compartment and started selling a variety of foodstuff, Guptaji bought two Vada-Pao, packets of salted boiled peanuts and two cups of tea.
