Brown, Rita: - Rita Brown is a two-time Olympic Coach and Founder of the Brown's Gymnastics Training Centers. Under her coaching, over forty gymnasts have qualified to the National Team and National/International Medalists totaling over 100. Her accomplishments also include qualifying gymnasts to the 1988, 1992 and 1996 OLYMPIC GAMES and the 1997 World Championships. Rita is also renown for qualifying gymnasts to the Jr. and Sr. Elite Program and for producing high level gymnasts who continue their gymnastics careers on full scholarships. Rita Brown represents the United States as a National Team Coach and provides her expertise to USA Gymnastics. An expert in the field of gymnastics, Rita recognized the need for education at the introductory levels of this sport and has written numerous Gymnastics Coaches Certification Manuals and established www.Gymcert.com, a website containing text and video representation of skills for testing and certifying gymnastics coaches in safety and training techniques for gymnastics skills.
