Leonardo Boff spent more than thirty years as a Franciscan, including 22 years as a professor at the Franciscan Institute of Petropolis in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Since leaving the Franciscan order and the priesthood in 1992, he has served as professor of ethics at the University of Rio de Janeiro. He has written more than eighty books, including Jesus Christ Liberator, Christianity in a Nutshell, and Francis of Rome, Francis of Assisi (all available from Orbis).
Totally a Mr. Rogers kind of guy according to @abbynormansays. I contain multitudes. He/Him
@lo_fi_priest I'm thinking about the book "Holy Trinity, Perfect Community" by Leonardo Boff. The intro has me like whoa with the assertion that the Trinity as the basis of reality is relational, therefore reality is based on community, not a static foundation.
Heading out. Twitter isn't working. Keeping my account if things turn around, but I won't be checking in. Places to find me in my pinned post.
Leonardo Boff, in “Holy Trinity, Perfect Community.” Such a good word: “The Father becomes present in those whose character as children is most denied.” #GoodTheologySavesLives https://t.co/FktzNvZgJX
