Hope for my Community in Africa

Jeanie Cline

Bahati Allan Eric narrates his life story in Uganda, Africa, to author Jeanie Cline. While experiencing a lifetime of struggles and hardships, he remains strong and resilient in meeting his goals. What are his dreams and goals? To be able to continue teaching and educating the Ugandan orphans the crucial skills they require to survive. While facing starvation and their various health issues and diseases, Bahati sensitizes adults and orphans with a greater view of coping when properly equipped with knowledge and experience. The orphans have absolutely no one for their dependence but this one young twenty-five-year-old veteran of scars and wounds received through his battle for survival. So truly unselfish, Bahati has starved himself and greatly sacrificed his health in order for these young children to survive. They learn how to use gardening and farm tools to develop the land he has provided, to plant and cultivate crops. He has taught them to "sew. reap, and harvest" their foods. Bahati has a degree in Agriculture and Education certificates he has proudly earned; not through an easy task, but a challenging one there in Uganda. His goal is to have interested donors help him purchase a water pump and refrigerator. The Ugandans who have no fresh water must go to the ponds where the animals drink and haul jerry cans back to their huts to boil water to drink. Parasites thrive in the dirty water and the natives and children become ill from drinking there. We hope Bahati's story will reach people throughout the universe and will touch their hearts to the point of wanting to help; help Bathati to assist these orphans, and make his dream come true. We cannot let his story go untold without prayers for God to send the right people to him to help in any way possible. God led me to this young man who is 7000 miles across the world from me. God wanted me to write his life story and share with the hope that someone cares enough to help. I truly care. We are blessed to be called... Author, Jeanie Cline
