Das, Bratati: - Dr. Bratati Das is a postdoctoral fellow at International and Interuniversity Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (IIUCNN), under Prof. Sabu Thomas, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottyam, Kerala, India. She obtained her doctoral degree in Material Science in 2019 from Visva-Bharati University, India. She obtained her M.Sc. degree in Physics from West Bengal State University. In this period, she carried out a project on synthesis of gold nanoparticles as Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy active substrate. She has 5 publications in various international journals. During her Ph.D. period she received the UGC NET award from the Council of Scientific Research, India, for her research.
Maria, Hanna J.: - Dr. Hanna J. Maria is a Senior Researcher at the International and Inter University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Mahatma Gandhi University, India. She previously held postdoctoral research positions at the Centre for Advanced Materials, Qatar University, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Yamaguchi University, Japan, the Centre RAPSODEE, IMT Mines, Albi, France, and the Siberian Federal University, Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Dr. Maria has published 20 articles and 10 book chapters, and co-edited 4 books. Her research has focused on natural rubber composites and their blends, thermoplastic composites, lignin, nanocellulose, bio-nanocomposites, nanocellulose, rubber-based composites and nanocomposites, and hybrid nanocomposites.
Thomas, Sabu: - Prof. Sabu Thomas is the Director of the International and Interuniversity Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Mahatma Gandhi University in Kerala, India. He also serves as the Chairman of Trivandrum Engineering Science and Technology Research Park (TrESPARK) in Kerala, India. Formerly, he was the Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University. His ground-breaking research has covered the areas of polymer science and engineering, polymer nanocomposites, elastomers, polymer blends, interpenetrating polymer networks, polymer membranes, green composites and nanocomposites, nanomedicine, and green nanotechnology. Prof. Thomas has received several national and international awards in recognition for his work and recently received Honoris Causa (DSc) from the University of South Brittany, Lorient, France, in recognition for his contributions to polymer science and engineering. Prof. Thomas has published more than 1400 peer-reviewed research papers, reviews, and book chapters. He has also edited and written 210 books. His H-index stands at 139, accompanied by a citation count of 43,000.
