Johnson, Adam: - Adam Wade Johnson is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is founder of Banana House Publishing and a children's book author whose passion for writing stems from the reading challenges he endured as a young child and teen. Today, his desire is to create colorful, mind-stimulating, explorative stories which parents and young readers will fully immerse themselves. He has a B.S. degree from Indiana University (IUPUI) in Urban Affairs. When he is not writing, he can be found mentoring urban high school students via summer camps, youth conferences, career workshops, college campus visits, job shadowing and more. His desire is for young readers to learn, grow and explore life together with his characters, cultivating a joy and passion for reading to last a lifetime.
