In-Laws: Married with Parents

Wayne A. Mack

"How many Christian books about marriage would you say you have purchased and read? How many of them included solid biblical teaching, if any teaching, about the issue of in-law relationships? Over the years I have purchased and read hundreds of books on marriage and family issues. Surprisingly, a perusal of these books indicates that very little has been written on this subject. It is virtually an untouched area."

Praise for this book

Any pastor or counselor with experience understands that one of the most heated arguments in a marriage can be over in-laws. Dr. Mack has addressed this issue with biblical clarity and candor that I believe will be an asset to any marriage, whether they are having problems with this or not. This is a must read for anyone who wants biblical answers in handling the issue of in-laws in a Christ-like way.--John Street, The Master's College & Seminary
Wayne Mack has done it again!... an intensely biblical and practical book, crisp and to the point, replete with experience and insight. Wayne has observed unhealthy in-law relationships over decades of ministry. Here is his wise counsel for setting those relationships right.--Jim Elliff, President, Christian Communicators Worldwide
Wayne Mack's practical guidance for in-law issues and problems is biblical, wise, and concise. He touches on nearly every major pertinent issue. If married couples follow the advice set forth lucidly in this booklet, they will avoid many potholes in traversing the roads of marriage.--Joel R. Beeke, President, Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary
As a pastor, I've seen more than a few marriages temporarily grounded on the sandbar of in-law relationships. What those couples needed was a chart directing them to the smooth, deep water of biblical relationships with in-laws. This booklet is just such a chart. It will guide both married couples and their parents through the rocks and reefs of sin to the safe harbor of biblical relationships.--Joel James, Pastor of Grace Fellowship Church, Pretoria
