He has shot thousands of artists, mastering the art of telling stories and expressing emotion through his camera. Michael has served as house photographer for Red Rocks Amphitheater, Ascend Amphitheater, the Newport Jazz Festival, the Newport Folk Festival, the Barcelona Jazz Festival and the Bluegrass Underground. His work has been on exhibit in Spain, sponsored by the US State Department, the North Sea Jazz Festival, Oz Arts Nashville, the Parthenon Nashville and at celebratory pop-up gallery parties during the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Michael has also spearheaded numerous fund-raising efforts for musical causes. Michael's passion project INSTRUMENTHEAD has been in development for over 20 years.
