About the Author

Chee, Ken Nee: - Dr. Chee Ken Nee, a highly experienced educator with 12+ years in high school teaching and a Ph.D. in Educational Technology. Formerly at a high-performing secondary school, he has recently been appointed Assistant Director at the Educational Technology and Resources Division, Ministry of Education, Malaysia, affording him profound insights into educational challenges. Presently a senior lecturer at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, a registered professional Technologist and senior IEEE member, His impactful contributions include 15 quality journal papers, ISI and Scopus indexed, focusing on mobile learning, educational technology, and computer-based learning, delving into their influence on students. Motivated by a fervor for innovation in teaching and learning, especially in the pandemic era, he boasts an H-index of 7 with 463 citations in six years. His outstanding achievements include the Global Teacher Award (2020). Beyond research, he actively contributes as a reviewer for ISI and Scopus indexed journals and serves as a jury member for esteemed innovation competitions globally, including the United Kingdom. His international reach extends to speaking engagements.
Sanmugam, Mageswaran: - Mageswaran Sanmugam acquired his B.Sc. (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Tun Hussein Onn in 2005 and Master's degree in Educational Management in 2012 from Universiti Utara Malaysia and Ph. D in Educational Technology in 2017 from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He worked as an Educator in both Primary and Secondary schools from 2008-2018, before being appointed as a Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Instructional Technology and Multimedia, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia (from 2018- till 2021). Currently he is the Deputy Director of Research, Innovation and Networking in the Centre for Instructional Technology and Multimedia, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia (from 2022- till now). His research interests encompass educational technology, ludology, game-based learning, gamification and game theory. He also serves as an exco-member in the Malaysian Educational Technology Association (META), and as a Senior Member under the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
